Tangible Jukebox: Back to palpable music

Abstract
Since commercial music exists, it has been distributed by means of a physical support, usually accompanied with a pretty design as a cover. Nowadays, record companies have started to distribute music over the Internet making music something intangible. Due to the fact that music does not take physical space anymore, we can now store amazingly big music collection in our computers, and the musical container unit swaps from albums to play-lists. What I propose with this paper is the creation of a system where files (intangible) become to physical objects again, recovering part of the mysticism related with vinyl discs or compact discs and applying the advantages that a tangible tabletop interface can offer to this system.
