Conference DatesThe conference will run from ~9:00AM on Thursday, February 15, until noon on Saturday, February 17. The conference will be followed by an optional Saturday half-day trip to the Mardi Gras Endymion parade in New Orleans.
We anticipate that most attendees will wish to fly to the BTR (Baton Rouge)
airport, arriving February 14, departing February 18. Visitors with exhibits
may wish to arrive early in the day to have time to set up and debug.
This wonderful location with a view over the Mississippi River is at the south end of the downtown area, which has been enjoying a renaissance in recent years. There are many restaurants, museums, a riverboat casino, a planetarium, and other attractions within easy walking distance of the hotel.
Baton Rouge is the Capital of Louisiana, with a metropolitan area population of more than 600,000. It is the home of Louisiana State University (LSU) and located on the Mississippi River, a little more than one-hours drive northwest of New Orleans. The region is famous for its blues and jazz music scenes, its culinary delights, nightlife and Southern and Cajun heritage.

If flying into Baton Rouge:The Sheraton has a free shuttle bus if you are staying there. After landing, please call the Sheraton at +1-225-242-2600 and request a pickup. Other options include taxi and rental car. A cab ride costs about $20 to the Sheraton.
